I love Drive by Truckers! Thanks for that link. I usually listen to KNON on line or 95.3 the range both are streaming "Red Dirt stations".
As long as I can find some redeeming quality, I'll listen to it... by redeeming quality, I mean quality lyrics, musicianship, good hook, something like that. I listen to mostly country, rock, and some classic/standard jazz, but my collection runs from Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky to Pantera and Slayer, with just about whatever genre you can think of in between. Depends on my mood at the moment, but I've got it covered, not matter what
Txjourneyman, I am driving 6 and a half hours at the end of the month to see them in St. Louis. If you're interested check out ninebullets.org It's all DBT there and they have forums and stuff as well.
That is one of my favorites. I just saw Ray Wylie Hubard a few weeks ago. Also saw Jerry Jeff walker and Gary P. Nunn last year. Great genra.
Blues, Rock, Gospel (old & new), Opera, Bluegrass, Country, almost anything but not Rap. I just don't hear any talent in Rap.
