I took a kid turkey hunting once. He didn't like it.

He said it was okay until the doctor starting pulling the BB's out.

Being a teacher gives me a lot of opportunity and motivation to get kids involved in outdoor activities. I'm one of two NASP instructors at the school I teach at, we run about 350 kids through archery classes each year and have been at it 4 years now. I am fortunate also in that my principal asked me to design my own outdoor oriented advisory class, so, I created and teach an Outdoor Education curriculum, that's another 90 kids per year intruduced to the outdoors, I am also the Foresty Team coach of 12 students a season, were we compete in the Idaho State Foresty state championships and finally my own two sons are well versed in just about everything outdoors that they want to be a part of.

Numerous kids to archery via the National in Schools Archery Program.

7 kids so far into hunting including my oldest son and as soon as my 9 yr old hits 10 he will
    be hunting also.
Both of my sons shed hunt and fish and have won numerous fishing tournaments.
