How many here have shot coyotes here with their bow?

I have shot 2, missed 2 and have been busted drawing back a few times. It sure is fun watching them bite back where the arrow went in.:)

I got one with the bow. I had just shot an 8 point and I was packing my stuff to climb out of the stand and start tracking him when I seen a coyote walking head down the same path I walked in on, I nocked an arrow and shot him almost at the base of the tree, his head was still down...the only thing he could have been trailing was my tracks....go figure. Shot truck load over the year with rifles but this is the only one i ever shot with bow.

No coyote yet, but I did slam a bobcat with my bow.

It took a lot of years to get my first one. I always got busted one way or another. Now I have killed several of them with bow. I figured out that you better get drawn WAY early and you still have to get pretty lucky. I stuck one to the ground nearly straight below me. The rest have all put up a pretty big fuss.

My buddy and I have shot many coyotes with our bows. We avg at least 2 a yr a piece while deer hunting, they are everywhere down here. We have many of the kills on camera as well. It is awesome to see how they react. We have had them flip completly over, bite the arrow in half (lodged in the shoulder), scream, growl, spin in cirlces, just about everything. There are just way to many where we hunt

I've shot and killed two, and missed two as well. Quick little buggers they are.

Mike has shot probably 10 of them with his bow over the years. He's a 'yote magnet.

Yes.. many a yote has seen the end of his days after being within range of me.. seems like they're always moving near me for whatever reason. Damn things.

Of the 10 or so I've killed.. I've let another 5 or 6 walk and had a couple at close range but it was too late to do anything about it. I've also missed another 2 I think.. one from the ground at like 6 yards (scared him at the same time I released).. big bastard red fella.. I'll never live that one down.. I really wanted him.

I have killed a couple with the stick and string over the years. My buddy that came to the G2G killed three with his bow this year, all in the same stand while deer hunting

No idea.... Dozens.... maybe more. I haven't stuck that many with the arrow, maybe a handful. Most my yote kills are with a shotty or rifle.

I have too... Seems like I never have my camera along when I do though (only shot a couple)... I actually took this one with a trail cam that just happened to be at my location close to my stand... Tougher than it looks - taking a pic with a trailcam - ha ha...

One so far but have passed on a few others when they weren't very common here.

No coyotes. Missed a wolf with the bow and grazed another. Killed a few wolves with the rifle and muzzleloader.

1 with the bow and many with the rifle. I have been busted by more 'yotes than deer thru the years.

I might never shoot another 'yote with my bow due to the obscene smell left on the arrow from those critters. Maybe I just had bad placement with my shot, but WOW that arrow/BH stunk for week even after being washed with warm water.

Missed 2 last year, got busted twice and thought i missed one this year (actually hit it after inspecting the arrow). Dang things are more wary than deer and never stop - always a trot.

I saw quite a few during deer season but never had any moving slow enough to even try to get a shot off on them with a bow. Pretty amazing how quiet they are too. Unless your looking that direction they can be right next to you before you even know it.
