Just wondering how many doe tags you can fill each year and how much are your tags (Res and Non-res)? There's a possibility I could do lots of traveling this fall and now I'm curious. :D
I can harvest a total of 4 deer during the season. BUT, 2 of them (anterless) have to be taken before November 29th. This is for zone B in Ohio.
We can shoot 10 antlerless and 2 antlered (one must have 4 points or better on one side) deer with no daily bag limit here in Georgia. It would run from $110 ($20 for the license and $90 for the Big game stamp) for a three day license up to $295 ($100 for the hunting license and $195 for the big game stamp) for the entire season. There's also a $73 fee for the WMA stamp which would be added to that unless you had an area to hunt.
Hey Dubs, I've got plenty of ground for you to camp and a pond full of bull frogs. You'd be in heaven.
Theoretically I can shoot unlimited does, but that is only in one of the units I hunt. Our system is a little weird but I'll typically get 6 doe tags & 1 buck. A NR would typically only get 1 doe tag(maybe 2 depending on unit) unless they too hunted a special regs area.
2 bucks and unlimited doe in Missouri. Tags for does are only 7 bucks. You can only shoot one buck before rifle and one after.
Same as GMMAT except in our part of the state it is 4 bucks (which IMHO is ridiculous). I don't see 4 shooters all season, maybe in 2 seasons :d . If you swing thru NC just let me know.
Between VA, MD, and NC I can shoot does until all of the starving people in Ugonda need Weight Watchers. In my home state of VA you can buy as many doe tags as you want I believe. Most of the farm lands I hunt in VA the owners provide DMAP tags so we can harvest as many does as we want throughout the season (up to the limit for each property which varies). I believe in VA the Non-resident license/tags runs around $150 and includes 2 buck tags and 4 does(some areas 3 & 3). You can then purchase extra doe tags if you want. Lots of public land in VA from the mountains to the swamps, let me know if you want some links to that info. If you draw up a trip that puts you nearby and aren't interested in public land shoot me a pm. I'm looking into a trip in a couple of seasons that will include bowhunting in the mountains of VA and the Blackpowder hunting the mountains of West VA, all in all about 8 days(that's as much time as I can squeak out). Good luck.
