How many folks here recycle, re-sharpen their broadheads & take multiple deer & or pigs with the same arrow & or broadheads?

Retire the arrow after each deer.

I have taken three, arrow broke after the third deer. I only retire the arrow if it is a buck.

One and done with the broadhead. It now becomes a practice head if it still spins ok. The arrow gets used again as long as it checks out ok.

This has been my approach as well for a lot of years. Now that I am going with more durable single bevel COC heads I Am considering recycling the broad heads through multiple deer. Of corse a thorough inspection & meticulous resharpening will need to be exercised. So I thought Id ask how this is working for others.?

I have shot the same set of slick tricks through multiple deer and I've used the same magnus serrazors before. Way back in the day, I used the same muzzy 3 blades on multiples too.

Slick Trick Magnums, sharpened up the blades and put it back in the quiver. I alternate those with Magnus Broadheads.

I have shot 3 elk with the same arrow and broad head ferrule (replaceable blades).
The arrow was a Goldtip 5575 and the broad head was a regular 3 blade Muzzy.
First elk was a 4x5 bull broad side at 20 yards. He was slightly above me and the terrain rolled slightly downhill behind the little rise he was standing on, heard the arrow "ping-ping-ping" down through the trees behind him, figured I'd never find it. Shot the bull right before dark so never looked, just focused on getting the elk taken care of. Came back the next day and surprisingly found the arrow laying out on the ground about 80 yards beyond where the bull was standing. After cleaning it up I carefully inspected it, flex tested it, and spun it. Arrow and ferrule passed all.
The next year I put that setup first in my quiver, new blades in the ferrule. Shot a Spike broad side at 16 yards, he was standing on a steep hillside and arrow stuck into the ground behind him. Same as the year before, arrow and ferrule passed inspections.
The next year it was again first in my quiver with new blades. Shot a cow at 38 yards, quartering away. Arrow hit the far side shoulder joint and stopped. In her death run the arrow backed out of the near side hole and her shoulder sheared it off twice. I first found the fletched end of it, then farther along I found another 6" or so of the middle of it, never did find the rest with the broad head.

One day I really got into the hogs and shot three with the same Exodus head...then another day shot 3 with the same Sevr head...and the second two shots were with it in the open position cause I didn't bring any extra O rings into the field.

Not just deer alone but a combo of Deer and Turkeys I have taken 10 with one arrow shaft but a combo of broadheads on same shaft. inspections were done before using for another hunt. We have a video on the Bowhunt or die web show about it.
