Opening day of gun I sat all day. Felt like crap that night. That was the only day.

None. I've never done it, I cant imagine sitting in a tree all day. More power to those of you that can do it though.

I think 2-3 this year, but none produced any opportunities. This year and last year are two seasons I'd like to forget, unless of course I get it done late this year but I've never killed a deer later than December 15.

2012 I did like 10....last year tagged out early and only did 1. This year jobs and illness haven't allowed it....perhaps still on in me yet we'll see.

None. I have never done a dark to dark sit. I don't ever really take vacation to hunt, so I never feel like I can sit all day. At the very least, I check in at my office for a couple of hours mid day and on the week-ends, I always have things to do around the house or farms. I have always wanted to just take a week off in November and do nothing but hunt. But, so far, I have never felt like I can do it. Some day!

When the house is only 200 yards away, it's pretty much impossible for me to sit in the stand all day. Just too convenient to head into the house to warm up and eat some lunch. Head back out for the afternoon.

None this year. I usually do 2 or 3 a year. This year my first was going to be Halloween. I killed 35 minutes after I sat down. I'm not a huge fan of all day sits but I just make myself do them during rut usually. This year I didn't have the need or want to do them after I shot my deer.

I've done 2. Hard on the old bones and joints staying in a stand that long.

I do over 30 a year. It gets tough mentally even when you're seeing deer. I started hunting when I was 8 and that's how my family hunted. We're always at least a few miles in so coming out and going back isn't feasible. Out of state I may spend a day or 2 scouting if the deer sign isn't there but once I find it i lock in. I would take 10-2 over morning or evening any day of the week tho

On average, how many deer do you see in that time frame and what time of year do you do it?

I usually sit dark to dark 5-6 times a year. My wife's work schedule changed this year so I only did a few. My scouting will be top notch this year as my time is precious in the woods. I need to be more efficient.

Only one this year. A few years back I had 19 and I'm not sure how the heck I did it. Had over 300 hours that year and didn't tag a buck.

From 10-2? During November I will see at least 80% of my bucks during that time frame. My top 5 biggest bucks I've seen have all fell between 1:30 and 2:45 except 1. He was at 12:30. I see small bucks and does all hours of the day but most of them mid morning. First and last hour are deff my slowest times

Only 1 this year. Usually 6-9. There is always next year. I wont sit dark to dark during late season usually too cold or not the right gear or a combination of the two.

6 bowhunts during the first two weeks of November and 2 all day sits during gun season. Took my buck on the 3rd planned all day sit during gun season.

I did have a handful of days where I go in about 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning and sit the rest of the day. On those hunts, I can only access the area through fields so I need to wait for the deer to clear before I enter.

I did dark to dark hunts the whole last week of Oct and the first week of Nov this season (11 out of 12 days), except Sundays. I'll only do D to Ds during the rut. Some days I wouldn't see a single deer and others I'd see 7-8 deer in an hour. I didn't kill a buck though. The rut can be feast or famine. All day hunts certainly aren't for the squeamish! lol
