At the moment i have 4 Bowtechs. 06Tomcat, 05 old glory, 2013 assassin, and a 2014 carbon knight. They are all great bows so i keep them.
I have 3 compound (2 working/1 not) and 1 traditional. One is my current hunting bow, the other two are previous hunting bows. The traditional bow is one my grandpa used who recently passed away.
6 total. Have one for everything. Nothing clears the mind like archery BowHuntingTheBackCountry with Bowtech INSANITY
4 here, and one maybe on the way. My main hunting bow is a Bear Empire. I also have a Bear Anarchy, that I bought originally as a backup, and for 3d, techno hunt, etc. I recently acquired a PSE Brute in a trade that shoots so nice, I may just hang on to it for a while. Someone gave me an old Bear Whitetail that they found. I keep it set low, and using a Can't Fire Release from Third Hand Archery, I use it to warm a up and practice back tension with. I'll be using it to rehab after my upcoming surgery as well. I'm trying to see if I can buy back my Ben Pearson Rogue recurve that I foolishly sold years ago, as it was my first bow. V
I used to own several but anymore, just one at a time. I'd like to get another as a backup however. Thing for me is, I can only shoot one at a time and to get truly good with a particular bow, you have to shoot it and get comfortable with it. Switching between bows will not allow you to do this.
After having a major issue last year with a previous bow, I believe I will be looking for a backup to put together. Ideally one that I either have owned in the past that I can pick up for cheap. Throw a decent sight and rest on it, tune it and it will be ready if I ever need it.
