Have lost a few arrows over the years spot and stalk hunting turkeys. but long ago stopped shooting groups so other than an occasional lost arrow or one developing a crack and no longer useable never seem to not go through arrows. in fact bought a few dozen on sale about ten years ago and am probably only down about 6 in that time.
I treat myself to six new arrows a season. Remove broad head from last season and they become target arrows for the season and or pass down to son.
i have a dozen arrows and have had them for almost a full year and didnt break any or lose any the arrows i had before these BEA were victories and i lost maybe 2 in about 5 years and broke none
Usually about a dozen a year. When I go hunt I West Texas is when lose the most. If I miss, there is nothing but rock so needless to say the arrow is wasted.
I seem to manage to lose 2 or 3 a year. Usually one due to stupidity (shooting long distance and forgetting dial my pin back down) 1 will inevitably go through a target or I'll break one and 1 where I botch a shot. Yet to lose an arrow from an actual shot on a deer. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Same here 2 to 4 a year out of a dozen . I usually buy new arrows every year or 2 depending if I'm going to stay shooting the same arrow on my new setup or not each year.
Depends on my season this is two years in a row I broken an arrow on a deer or a coyote and in practice i rip vanes more than I would like but break probably only 3 arrows a year
Think I lost about 10 this past year. A few broke and others missed their mark and are buried in the yard or in the field beyond. I'm planning on building a more permanent target with a backstop eventually. So hopefully I won't lose as many arrows. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
3-4 target shooting, then 4-5 during the season cause they are broken off in a deer or lost after a pass through.

Shooting groups is a waste of good arrows. Shoot different spots with each arrow and you get the same result without ruining arrows.
I normally go threw about 4-6 arrows a couple target shooting and this year I broke 3 arrows in 3 does Mike4christ
Typically 3/5 in a full year, however I target shoot a TON and usually loose about 2 and then break at least one (if I'm lucky 2)on deer. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
