I just picked up my new Mathews Chill R yesterday. I have it sighted in at 20 yards and need to go to a different shop to sight in further out. My question is how many arrows will it take to have the bow broken in so I can really get my sight set? I have a HHA ol 5519. They didn't say anything about it when I was at the shop but my buddy said 300-400 arrows. I want to do some late season hunting and my old bow got sold. So what say you guys?

Wow 50 looks and no one has responded. Im guessing string stretch is a thing of the past.

i think you should be ok by now, providing you peep isnt rotating on you and there is no signs of string stretch ( ie cams out of time, draw weight changes) ....I would say you go ...go sight in.

I am over 100 arrows now and have not noticed any peep alignment issues. Or timing issues for that matter. Draw weight may be getting backed down a few pounds or a stabilizer.

I'd say test a few shots right before you hunt, if it's spot on then go for it.
