I stopped carrying different tipped arrows in the same quiver because of accidently pulling out a practice arrow instead of a broadhead at an inopportune time. Now every arrow in the quiver has a sharp broadhead and any blunts or other points are carried in a pill bottle in the buttpack to swap out if needed. As for number of arrows, either 3 or 6 depending on which quiver I'm using.
My quiver holds 5, and I carry 5. If I am spotting and stalking I may nock an arrow and keep a full quiver of 5. I have shot animals before that needed another arrow. Hogs are a prime example. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
quiver holds 4, I have 3 with broadheads and the 4th usually has a field tip or a cheap bh for squirrels or yotes
3 or 4 usually in the quiver, at least two with broadheads and other one with feild point or small game head. Got a 5 arrow quiver but rarely carry that many.
Have a 5 arrow quiver and usually carry 3-4 with my hunting broad heads and 1-2 junk broad heads for those nasty little critters.
That would drive me nuts to have an arrow missing (OCD) Heck, it would drive me nuts just to see someone with an arrow missing like that!
Same here. Heck I am so bad all my arrows have to be the same: same broadhead, same nocks, etc. It's one reason I wanted to switch from 5 to 3; to save money on broadheads and lighted nocks .
