Just curious about how many out there can/do shoot left and right bow?

I ask because I'm a right eye dominant(due to a prosthetic left) and right handed but I'm thinking of trying a left hand bow, actually I am supposed to pick up a lefty Martin bow tomorrow. But I have been shooting right hand bow since around 10 now 42'

Any thoughts or pointers or is there any other bow users with prosthetics?

I shoot both! In long bow and in compound. I think you should go with your dominant eye. My best shot was one of the first with me left hand (Am a Righty, but and left eyed, due to lazy eye.)

I can bat and shoot pool both right and left handed, but i've never tried shooting.
Really it's all about practice and form. Just like shooting normally. Go slow and work on finding your marks. It is going to take some time to get i'm sure.

I'm left handed, but right eye dominant. I do most things lefty. I shoot a left handed bow, but I'm currently looking for a used RH bow. I've shot some of my friends RH compounds and I'm fairly accurate. I really like being able to keep both eyes open when shooting righty. My plan is to get the RH bow and determine if I shoot better right or left. If there's not a major difference I guess I'll keep both bows.

It would actually be helpful in that a lot of the stands that I hunt are shared and are set up for right handed shooters.

The first bow I bought was right handed. The new one I bought before this past season is left handed. I write, throw, and shoot a basketball left handed but, golf and bat right handed.

I wouldn't go so far as to call myself ambidextrous but I naturally do many things left handed that right handed people typically do with their right hand. I cannot write left handed though and I have never tried shooting a bow left handed.

I am just wondering because like I said I am right handed and I ONLY HAVE my right eye,the left was taken out by a firecracker when I was 2-3..Any way just wondered if it would seem weird or what shooting off the right side of a bow with right eye and drawing with my right hand using a lefty bow??
I'm looking to invest in a lefty just to "Kill that cat" , CURIOSITY..

I'm weird with this. I shoot higher poundage right handed, but I'm more accurate left handed.
