    well i just found out that today NYS is doing an early bear season from sept 6 to the 21st in the southern Zone... so ill be trying for bear the first weekend in sept.... sick!!!!

    MO/KS state line
    KS and MO both open Sept 15th but I rarely ever hunt that early. I liked season better when it opened a month later in Oct. It's generally way to hot and nasty here that early and fawns are generally still sticking close to their doe.

    I might go out a bit in Sept if we get a cold front and some better temps. I've got so many tags and so much management to do that I probably need an earlier start than usual.
