Yes...It's not going to happen overnight and it's scary as hell, but I have to do something. I have a plan in motion, that may never come to fruition, but at least I'll have tried.

I have a chemical engineering degree, but currently I put together proposals for air pollution control (dust collectors) equipment. I have no desire to stay in engineering of any kind.
Will be 3 years on the 2nd. Feels like it has been 90. Can't wait to get another job. Sent from my BNTV600 using Tapatalk
Crazy that this thread was created and I replied... The 2 Vice Presidents of the company came to me 30 minutes after I posted with a card and congratulated me on my 7 years of service.
Been in the family construction business professionally since 1997 so 17 years this September. Reengaged into farming in 2007 so 7 years into that and managing wildlife since 1990 so 24 years into that. Jeeze...that's shocking to think about. That's really the first time I've thought much about how long I'd been doing this stuff....
In my 6th year of the most demanding job there is - Retirement. Before that spent 33 years in the military.
going on year 7. Transportation supervisor/Driver..the past 6 years went by very quickly, kinda scary.
Would be nice for time to slow a little huh? I can remember walking into this place at 19 years old like it was yesterday. Crazy how fast time goes.
Just passed 12 years the other day. I remember when I started there...I started out at minimum wage {I think it was $5.15 per hour} I needed a job, was laid off from my job building communication towers and my first daughter was on the way. I figured I'd work there just long enough to find more gainful employment. I certainly didn't think I'd be there this long. I'm currently the production supervisor and in training to be the operations manager when my boss retires in a year. Time sure does speed on by.
Three years now wrenching on Deere equipment. Worked six years as a Yamaha, Mercury outboard tech before that.
