How long do batteries last in trail cameras

    Battery gauges aren't generally very accurate with Lithium batteries. Mine will show full charge one day and completely dead the next.

    I use Duracell Procells. Depending on the camera I get a couple months use out of them. The feeder cams sometime last a month but it's nothing to have 2500+ pics a week on those set on a 30sec rest.

    I did the math on the lithiums once and figured they didn't pay off with the exception of cold weather use. They failed by one battery change to pay off but they did perform three times better in cold weather. They lasted much longer and the camera functioned better in sub freezing weather with the lithiums.
