That's really cool. I wish you luck.

From my limited experiences in this...........START SWIMMING - NOW!:jaw:

I gave WAYYYYyyyyy too little respect to swimming when I first started. And, it's still my biggest limiter. My cycling and running are making distinguishable strides. Swimming (and I used to train lifeguards) is HARD. I just joined the local masters swim program. If I were you, I'd look into that OR get a swim coach (assuming you have no competitive swimming background). I'd do an Olympic dist. race this fall............IF I felt comfortable enough on the swim. I don't, currently. If I had it to do all over again, I'd have gotten my swimming to a different level than it is, BEFORE I signed up for my 1st event. I struggled through each tri with my swimming.

    Start swimming - NOW.

    Again.....good luck.

Way to go Jeff, I knew once you got started you would give it 100%. I suck at swimming. More of a fight to keep from sinking then a productive forward stroke.

Just under 190#'s, PT. I lost some weight to start with (12-14#), then leveled off. I fluctuate between 188 and 192, most days. I've got a 7mi. run in the AM. I should weigh when I get home!.....lol.

I feel good, though, and my clothes fit great (actually had to buy some new ones).
