How is Kansas early season hunting??

    Let me know and I'll join you guys. I hunt nearby in Coffeyville. Last week I was out in Sedan, our church has a church camp out there that we own. Flint Hills Christian Camp. Its out by the old lake.

    Sounds good joe....how do you normally do in early season out there?

    Well, last year was my first year and I shot a doe opening weekend but I didn't shoot a buck until October 26th. However, I did have an encounter with a nice buck from the same stand as I shot my doe the next time I hunted it but he busted me. I added a food plot this year and I am putting a lot of my eggs in the early season hunting basket this year.
