Well with the peak right around the corner, how's everyone's season going so far?
Mines been good for the time I've spent bowhunting. I have seen a TON of deer in a short period of time. I hope to get out a lot more after gun season ends. We'll see.

Well I have not been able to get out as much as I had hoped for by this point due to family emergencies. However, I have managed to get my first ever deer already. Now hoping to get out several more times and get me a few more!

Average for me. I had a chance at a 125" to 127" buck and elected to pass so I guess that's a successful season In a way right there. I'm hoping It gets better though.

Im seeing Deer, The bucks have all been little  For the life of me im seeing Does but cant get one close enough for a shot  I had to beat them off with a stick last season even after EHD  The guys at work are not seeing much either. The corn is a big factor for me right now....its still standing all around  I had a yote in range one day before the season opened on them  This is my last day of work for 19 days and its on, starting tomorrow. A full out assult on the whitetail starting in the morning  The weather is right now, and im seeing alot of bucks cruising in the darkness going to and comming from work everyday.

terrible, terrible, terrible, to say the least. Ive never had a season so bad in my life. Ive been bow hunting for a long time and dont usually make bad shots. Well this year I have had two bad shots. Come to find out though it wasnt just me, it was the bow as well. We think we got that straightend out now though as of yesterday. Did some tuning, took off my Ultra Noc and and shooting right from the string. Now Im getting my true draw length and accuracey again. ive used the Ultra noc for a year or so and never had any problems untill this year. Also my Wb was slightly out of tune as well. I think its time for me to redeem myself and get back to the tru archer I really I am.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse than last season...this season started and showed me that it can.

I passed on a 130 class nine on opening day because I know there are bigger 10's and an 11 where I hunt. Since then haven't seen the 9 but have seen a lot of small bucks. In the last 24 hours I have had shop opportunities on 14 bucks and two does. Passed them all because I want one of the 10's or 11. Going back out in an hour;)

It's been better than ever in terms of seeing deer. Except for the very hunt hunt back in mid-September I've seen at least 1 buck every outing... and it's almost always a shooter. Unfortunately they're tough to hunt with their pattern...but at least there's usually some excitement.

It's been extremely slow for me. I've only been in a stand a total of 8 times and only seen 2 bucks - both 1 1/2 year olds. I harvested a big doe, and had shots at two others that I passed. I'm really chomping at the bit here as Mike and I have 10 straight days of hunting/filming starting this weekend. I can't freakin' wait!

I may take Friday morning off work to sneak in a Halloween hunt, just cuz. :D

It's been good. Shot a buck and a doe. In all my sightings were down but the deer I saw were better than normal.

Kinda average, shot the first deer I saw and it turned out to be a button buck with fuzz still on his nubs. Dang it!!!#$%^&^&& Saw 4 does a couple of weeks ago and 2 young bucks Saturday morning, one forky and one 2.5 year old 8 pt. Let them walk. Coons are eatin my corn up, I've killed 3 so far, 2 with my bow and 1 with my Kimber. Both bucks were spreadin their scent on overhanging limbs but weren't scraping. There's usually scrapes all around this site when the start. We're having kind of a weird year, no acorns by my stands. Wish I could find a tree or two that had some. It got down to below 30 this morning, wish I was huntin instead of sittin in front of the puter! Going out this eve. to rattle a little.

The word for my season would be.. eh.. interesting I suppose. Which was not an option.

I've had encounters with great whitetail bucks.. passed a solid 125" 2 yr old and a 140ish 8 pointer at less than 25 yards. BLAH! Was 2 small steps away from a beautiful 135ish 8er.. before disaster struck with a yote. The buck was less than 30 yards away.

Had a 160+ at 45 yards.. but no dice. And the buck I took scored 112" for a 4 yr old. I'm human too.. a little vanity would be nice once in a while.:d

I can't complain.. as its been real fun. I feel like I've been right in the game and on top of them all year. And I've learned so much from each one.

But I wouldn't say it's been a good season yet. And I wouldn't say its been a poor season yet.

I'm indifferent. My tactics are working.. but that little bit of luck we all need has been eluding me all season long.

I'll get it done.. I know. And I'm very thankful for the lessons which have been learned.. it's a long season and I expect it to be my best ever.

until next year that is. :d

I've been seeing good amount of deer and I shot my first buck. I was drawn for a managed hunt coming up for the whole month of November and I think there are some slammers in there. So far I would rate my season an A.
