2011 PSE Bow Madness, 28 inch draw, 73 pounds, Easton ST epic 340's around 400 - 420 grains, QAD drop away, shooting 285-290, but thats with cat whiskers on the string.

My girlfriends bow is a 2010 PSE Chaos twin cam at 26 inches, and 35 pounds shooting a 395 grain arrow at 195 FPS. Not to bad for her first bow.

Years ago (15 of them) I chronoed my 73lb recurve shooting 2216 aluminum arrows weighing In at 560 grains. It came out at 210 fps, that's moving for a traditional bow. I'm still shooting this same recurve but It's loss 15lbs In draw weight, It's wearing out I guess. I haven't chronoed It since that day 15 years ago but I'm guessing It's shooting around 170 fps. I'm now shooting much heavier arrows as well, 704 grains heavy.

Hoyt Alphamax 35 - 28 DL & 65 DW. My arrow (Carbon Express Maxima 250) weight is 365.7 grains (10.32% FOC). Calculated speed of 274.97. All specs come from OnTarget software. I've not actually ran my bow through a chrono.

I put 1 arrow through the chrono before I had the bow fully tuned...

    '11 z7x
    28" draw
    60 pounds

    Arrow: Flatline @ 363 (28", 100 grain tip)

chrono speed was 278 fps. I've since turned it up and have it tuned much better so I'm curious to do it again.

Mathews Z9, 30in Draw, draw weight 65 and a 400gr arrow. Through the chrono I was right at 290fps. And yes the bow is very comfertable and has a ton of impact!! Cant wait for whitetail season to really put it to the test.
