I did stop running track last spring. It's probably around 4.6-4.9 now. Schedule Didn't allow it and lacrosse.
You aren't going to fall from a 4.37 to a 4.6-4.9 just b/c you didn't run track. Something doesn't add up.
Laser adds about .05-.1 to a 40 yard dash, especially if the hand clocked times were initiated by a command from the starter. Laser times start when the runner moves whereas most hand clocked times are initiated verbally or by a gun.
I used to run every day now since last April I only jogged once a week and I hurt my knee playing lacrosse in the fall. I tore my ACL and are still in physical therapy. Don't even know if I can play lacrosse this year
If you are running that fast you would be getting looked at by colleges to run track for them. I had a guy i my school who ran an consistent 4.4 (hand clock) and also had some fast speeds in the track races. Now he is running track in college and actually won at NAIA National championship.
You running for college? Because you would be one of the top 5 fastest guys at this years NFL combine.
"I ran a 4.5 in the 40" is so misused by high school and college football players. Most of the guys that say that run about a 4.7. We had rbs come out of hs coming into college that said they ran "4.5" and when clocked, ran 4.6 to 4.65... 4.5 is just sexy to use
I think the kid that ran the 4.37 is probably like 5'6 and 120 lbs. Those players running the same are 6" taller and 80 lbs heavier. This is just me giving him the benefit of the doubt, but I also found that hard to believe. Didn't Deion put up a 4.27 and own the title to NFL fastest player when he was Prime Time?
Deion ran a sub 4.3 hand timed. They didn't start laser timing till 2005. Since then, only 4 people have run sub 4.3.
You never showed. I was oiled up and shirtless yesterday behind my office waiting for like 30 minutes. I figured you pulled your back or something while getting off the couch.
I follow Ohio state football recruiting fairly well. I consistantly see 2/10 of a second difference between hand timed events and laser timed event.
