So, as I was tromping around in the woods today, I was thinking, how far do most people see a shed? Occasionally I may see one 20-30-40 yards out, but for the most part I find mine inside of 10 feet. For whatever reason, probably about 75% of my sheds this year have been basically at my feet when I saw them (drawback to shed hunting in the snow?) So, how good are your eyes at spotting the bone on the ground?
Depends on snow cover and terrain I.ve seen them at 40 and i,ve not seen them until I literally stepped on them.
