3.5 hours one way to my public land deer camp in MI, 3.5 to hunt private in WI, and 2000 miles to Idaho for elk every other season. I put between 3500 and 4000 miles on my truck per year chasing whitetails.

1 1/2 hours is a easy drive for hunting when you know they have deer. I use to drive that and not see any lol

Never had to think about more than an hour each way which is the drive to the primary area I hunt. And doing that has been every other weekend driving up Friday morning to hunt Friday evening and returning Sunday night. In-laws have a house at the. Land so I don't need a hotel. Local public land I hunt on the between weekends is about 15 minutes to the boat landing and 20-30 minutes up river depending on current.

Glad I have not had to think about going further.
