My wife is a lil touchy about the subject but sometimes shes cool with it. She doesn't eat venison shame on her and doesnt know what she's missing. Here lately she has been seeing deer cross about 60 yds from the door an her interest had started to spike a lil but only because she knows I love hunting. She loves when I go fishing and bring home loads of catfish her favorite so thats in my favor. As far as deer hunting like I say its touch an go sometimes she with it other times she hates it because im away from home. A couple months ago before season she hinted around about maybe going out in the blind with me at some point she even took hunters safety so who knows maybe one day she'll grow to enjoy the outdoors as much as I do. Fingers crossed

Nice! Were not far from each other at all. My old man lives in Palm springs right off 10th Ave and FL Mango..& I used to live in Lake Worth right off Dixie and 6th ave!...That LW Pier has some of the best pier fishing I have fished on the east coast!!

This fits my situation to a "T".

I've said it before on here, but when I met my wife she was a member of PETA. Now she will be the first to help me track, field dress, skin and process deer. She's even offered to drive 4 hours to pick up a deer I killed so that I could keep hunting.

Needless to say I didn't let her do that. :)

My wife and I have been married a little over 10 years and we have two boys 10 and 8. I've hunted since I was a kid but didn't get as big into it as I am now till I settled down and had a family. The first few years after Dayne was born things got dicey during hunting season then after Trace just a year and a half later it got even worse. She was overwhelmed at home with two kids and I was trying to get to the woods after working all day. We would battle about it and I would start feeling selfish while in the stand. Then when the boys started being more self sufficient things gradually got better. These days I spend as much or as little time in the woods as I like and she is supportive 100%.

Any that comes directly from the farm has a better chance of being fresher and purer. No water added.

When she can't go with me she is hoping I get one so she bring the boys out and help track, find, and clean one.
I'm truly blessed with the family I have.

I have been blessed with a wife that looks at things logically. Her Mom once asked her did she have a problem with me hunting. She said, "He was hunting long before me he met. Who am I to try and change that? We don't have to have everything in common. He has his hobbies and I have mine." My wife will never fully understand my obsession for bowhunting. She saw my Dad re-enacting a hunt he had one day and she said, "I see where you get it from." I love my wife to death. He well-being and safety is my utmost concern. I always put her first. With that being said, I am a bowhunter. She knew this from the start. If she ever has a problem with it, she will get over it.

My wife hates it when I am gone for any reason. Partly because I used to travel for work as well! She loves to spend time with me. But, she understands my passion for hunting and anytime I tell her I am going she is supportive. Thank God for that! I do try to make sure I am not going overboard and I also try to do things with her and for her when I am not going. It's all about balance in my opinion. If it were up to me solely I would be in the woods every waking second of every day! But I have a family that needs me and I make sure to be there for them, especially during the important times.
