Barkley will be out against ND. That win will be most definitely be by accident.

Same way Texas A&M scored on the Bama #1 defense....anything can happen on a fall Saturday afternoon!

ND has won all their games so far. A bad team couldn't do that. I give them their credit.

As much as I can't stand ND (or more so their fans), I do like to see Brian Kelly do well. He coached my alma mater to back-to-back DII championships. At least they have a real playoff.

ND is damn good, top 5 no doubt...just when comparing them to the other top 5 teams....they have all blown out their opponents with one loss to a top 10 team... ND has cut it close week in an week out, whether playing a decent team or terrible team.

I hope to watch them and Alabama square off. Both defenses are a force to reckon with!

Indeed I did. What years was your sister there?

I just realized I could have hooked up with your sister.

This is what I am thinking too... I'll give Bama an off week against LSU but they played iffy two games in a row. I think they are just beat up. They will get a false confidence when they slaughter Auburn next Saturday but they better have their chinstraps buckled when they meet Georgia... and I can't stand dem Dawgs.

    Georgia against Notre Dame 27-25.

If ND wins they have earned it a shot at the title game.

Bama will get in is my guess.

Agreed on both counts. Does it pain you to say these things?

Come on Germy. There's much worse teams/fans to have at the top than ND. The last decade has done some humbling.

Thanks...I prefer to be 1# at everything, including most hated fans. Last time ND was relevant...Granny Holtz was not pissing or drooling on himself.

Ben, serious question...I have seen you put this up many times over the years. You have many bama fans up that way? I ask because I know 0 Pitt, penn st., etc..,all fan bases have their fair share of "those guys", but sounds like you let one under your skin.

Guess they just need an annoying phrase to get under my skin. (Roll Damn Tide). Penn State has this in the "WE ARE.....Penn State" thing. At least Bama doesn't shout that crap at other random events like psu fan does. I like Penn State as a team, but a large majority of their fans are on the same level as a large majority of Bama.

cool, I was just curious. To be honest, Roll Tide is huge now, but most had no idea until bama started winning again and ESPN made that stupid commercial. I have been to a lot of games in my 33 years and really only heard roll tide roll after each first down and the occasional passer by. We always said go bama, or just discussed football. The fair weathers are who got this roll tide thing on a national level...I live with them everyday. I have been wearing bama gear for a long time, and just in the last 3 or 4 years have I not been able to go in public with my hat on and not get hit with a roll tide by the waitress, cashier, guy pumping gas beside me etc...just as annoying to me as well.
