Baylor has opened a can of that Whoop ... on Kansas State. Right now KS is down 4 touchdowns. Oregon game is still in doubt although they're ahead. My flipping finger is sore from going back and forth. Notre Dame won easily. Hell, they could be the only undefeated team at the end of the night.(except for THE Ohio State University.... bowl ineligable) This all should probably lead to a very poor BCS Championship. AND.... if Oregon manages to lose... well Alabama is back in the picture. On top of that, Notre Dame has a tough game coming up they could easily lose. At the end of the season.... probably the best teams won't meet in the Championship Game. Heck... who are the best teams? I don't know.
Bama is not I in yet, the last two weeks are going to be interesting. Ohio is the school kicking themselves
Oh, just wait until next year and it'll be pretty damned obvious that THE Ohio State University Buckeyes ARE the best team in the nation in the FBS. Last night was probably the most exciting night of football I've watched I several years!!!
I hope Alabama steam rolls ND should they meet in the national title game. As much as I'd hate Alabama, the only team that could (and likely would have) beat them in the MNC lost last night to Stanford. Maybe Oregon will start worrying less about looking pretty next time.
I can easily see Georgia beating Bama... Regardless I think either team would smash ND. Bama fans right now are praying ND wins out so they don't have to play a one loss Oregon
I live 25 min from ND and I have been a ND fan my whole life... One thing I hate is at the start of the week everyone says SO and So is going to smash ND this week... Then ND goes and beats them... Then everyone says how they either got lucky or now the team they beat was not that good anymore... When will they stop being lucky and people actually give them props? They are a very good team. The Offence could be better, but the D is amazing!! I think they will put up a great fight against anyone they go against. They still have a tough game coming up against USC and I have been a ND fan too long to start counting my chickens this early... But maybe if we are given a shot at Bama and come out on top then we will be called a good team... Or Bama will become a bad team and people will say Organ would have wooped us... Oh well I will be cheering for ND the rest of my life!!! I am a Cubs fan too but that is a whole other depressing story... Sigh
ND has just had too many close calls with mediocre teams to go along with their good wins such as Oklahoma... They are obviously a good team, but as a SEC champion I'd MUCH rather play them than Oregon or K State or one of those high octane offenses that has an outside chance of scoring enough to stay in it. ND can't score against bad defenses, so IDK how they could score against a top 5 defense.
Thank you Hooker, all these folks assuming that Alabama will win out. The SEC championship game hopefully will be a good nail biter, and I say winner (UGA in my opinion also) goes on to play Notre Dame. That being said, whoever loses the SEC championship gets hosed.
It comes with being a ND fan. There will be haters until the end of time. IF they beat USC and go undefeated it's not by accident. No matter what the case that is hard to do and this ND team is dam good. Sure they don't pass the eye test or put up pretty stat numbers against teams they should've. But they win. And in case you didn't notice, that defense is bad ***! I don't know how you score on ND!
