A lot of us leave our tree stands out for several months, or all the time when safe to do so. We have had a week of rain here but tomorrow is to be nice. Plan to go out to a stand. So how does a wet safety line effect the operation of the Prusik knot?
I check mine every time, before I get into a stand. The only time, I've had troubles is when it rained and then froze into one solid mass.
Thanks for the info. First year using a stand and still learning. Have a 16' ladder with one double strapped stick above that. Ladder is a lot easier then the sticks going up.
