How does a back flop feel?

    If you want to use pegs, use pegs. If you prefer climbing sticks, use climbing sticks. I posted this as a warning after my fall, not to determine which is better for everyone because one size does not fit all. Just be careful and use all the safety equipment from ground to stand and back so YOU don't get hurt.

    I love ladder stands... Super easy to get in and out of and feel quite comfy or should I say safe in them. I wouldn't advise a guy to not strap in while hunting in them but I don't. I usually end up climbing up and down with bow in hand which is another thing that likely isn't the best idea either. (at least I quiver my arrows ;) )
    I climb extension ladders at work all the time while hauling armloads of tools and whatnot up and down. My stands feel just as safe.
