How do you (personally) use your binoculars?

    Simple questions:

    Do you use your binoculars to see what that was you saw with your eyes
    Do you glass with your binoculars to look for game far ahead?

    I suppose, it has a lot to do with vegetation and terrain.

    Just wondering,

    I use my eye's first and then If I see something that might be of interest I use my bino's...but I sometimes just glass too.

    Yes and Yes. And in thick cover at close distances. I don't know how many deer I have seen within 50 yards in the timber well before I would have ever seen them with the naked eye. Use of binos is like x-ray vision.

    I use them for both reasons, but generally for scanning out of my eyes range.
