A team down 3-0 in the playoffs is not playing well, quit being a Wild apologist. From what I read the players feel unlucky, refusal to take responsibility. Will see what coach says when they get swept out. I will gladly admit the goalie is hot but good god if it smells like crap it is crap. Last I checked Litchfield is not a bastion of quality hockey, playing high school is nothing like the NHL so your expertise is not all that. Elk River myself, few NHL products out of that program. I am going to edit again to point out that there is nobody not a single writer or media or hockey person that is thinking or saying the Wild are playing well enough to do jack crap other than waste a good season, and get embarrassed by the Blues.

I will go if they are 500 anything below I won't go. I also hate the fact that the games are now on the FM dial baseball belongs on AM.

What is funny about the playoffs is how I can dislike a team so much all year but if they are playing a team I dislike even more all of a sudden I can cheer for them.

Oh boy the Minnesota Mild with a gutty effort extended the misery, glad to see they will bring the series back home so they can be booed properly when they bow out of the playoffs.

Why do you hate all Minnesota sports? Because they don't win championships or is there something bigger/deeper than that?

I don't hate Minnesota sports I really don't, I do get critical when I see a collapse coming a mile away. The Wild drive me crazy, I don't care for regular season hockey and when they lay an egg I rip them.

Wild were 0-3 at home during their short stay in the playoffs, that sucks.

You are a real POS Sota. Just because I'm from the small town of Litchfield I know nothing huh? That's pretty damn low. Maybe I should mention this to my daughters 10U girls hockey team. I'll inform them of you're opinion of all hockey players in my home town. We do pretty good for the most part for a small hockey town out west. Wish we had more talent but that's how it goes I guess. Our girls hockey program is outstanding. Were not a suburb of the Twin Cities so quit being so damn arrogant. I loved playing big city teams while in highschool. I was 5'8'' and weighed 150lbs soaked at the time. There was nothing better then laying out some arrogant cocky big city player. Kinda like you some were quite arrogant. On paper we knew we wouldn't win much against the big powers in the cities but we sure had the heart and fight. Hockey intell doesn't have **** to do with where you are from in this state. Many of the NHL coaches had bad hockey careers. However some made out to be great coaches. You're hate for Minnesota sports teams is huge. That's perfectly fine too but leave you're ignorance out of it.

As for the Wild they deserved to loose I guess. If you can't finish plays in front of the net then you're gonna loose plain and simple. Yeo himself along with the Blue's writer said they got lucky in this series. Outstanding goal tending was the big thing. A guys also gotta give credit to the Blue's D too in front of their net.

I will never forget the wins against Canadian teams when I was younger, no one ever expected the little Michigan town to beat them. lol

Kinda sensitive Schultzy, I did not attack you in anyway simply pointed out Litchfield is not the NHL. Also as far as the Wild if a 3-12 record over the last 3 playoff series is acceptable to you as a fan feel free to enjoy it, I for don't enjoy watching humiliating hockey as a fan.

Just got a Junior league team in the NA3HL. Might go and check it out. Probably be better than watching NHL just like I prefer watching the local Northwoods baseball league over the MLB. Younger kids who give it their all rather than spoiled millionaires.

The regular season NHL is nothing like playoff hockey, I will only watch NHL playoffs. You could not give me tickets, drinks and a ride to a regular season game. Baseball played at the major league level is a beautiful thing to watch if the teams are playing well.

Beautiful thing, all 18 minutes of action in a 3 hour game. Like walking through the entire Louvre when all you want to see is the Mona Lisa.

I could actually watch players throw warm up tosses around the outfield, the form and accuracy even when playing catch is something to behold. Read George Will's book men at work it explains the decision and process for every pitch signal, shift etc. Baseball is not for everyone, I enjoy it more now that they seem to be trying to speed up the game I always said if MLB outlawed the use of velcro the games would take half the time.

Those damn penguins did it again....at least the NHL is making history with the first ever matchup between two American born coaches. I hope Nashville walks over Crosby.

Glad to see once again the Stanley Cup will not be going to a Canadian team.
