Ok I have a question for those that enter or like looking at pics from trail camera contests. How do you like the winners to be chosen? Have people vote on it or the host of the contest pick the best picture?
I personally would like to see people voting on them. I would also like see the the homebrew cams and commercial cams in a separate catagory. Blessings.......Pastorjim
I have never tried uploading a video on my site, I dont think you could. For the question I was asking in general what people liked. I know how mine is done
Here is my problem with people voting on them. They seem to turn into who can beg more people for more votes and not what is the best picture.
In all seriousness, I'd be more for a combination. Site owner narrows it down to 3 or 5, then it's open for voting. That way, the people have their say, but you get to steer it in a good direction.
Agreed. There's a contest going on out there right now from a good company that is letting anyone upload pics and there are lots of them. The first people to enter got a head start. The problem is, the leading pics are absolutely horrible.
I wonder if I saw the same one Dan. I have been getting emails, facebook requests and have seen this guy post threads at a number of different forums begging people to go vote for his pic. I went to check it out and vote if it was any good. Well it turns out to be a completely crappy pic. Not only would I never post that pic any where I wouldnt even save it. Then you can vote every day so every day he is right back to vote whorring. The top 5 pictures in this contest all suck A$$. A trail camera contest to me should be about the picture.
