How do you practice for the upcoming season? Do you shoot from your treestand? Do you shoot a certain way to sharpen your skills? I just want to see how you vets keep sharp..

Well I'm no vet, but my off season practice consists of shooting at a block target in the yard both from the ground and a tree stand and shooting 3D tournaments.

I probably have a less rigorous routine than most on here, but it works for me. I don't shoot tons & tons, but I will shoot from a tree after I've broadhead tuned. Usually its also in hunting jacket and head/face covering, but if it's my same jacket & same bow that I know is free of clearance issues, I'll skip that part.

I shoot at a block pretty regular, but sometimes I will stop shooting for a week, come home from work and go jog...when I get back home my wife will have the block set up at a random distance (further than 40) and my bow and 1 arrow laid out. I shoot immediatly and see how I hit. It is the closest I can get to actual adrenalin and the further distance will show any for issue. As rybo said I also shoot at a 3-d target from a tree at random yardage with all my hunting gear on.

I continue to hunt with my camera. The excerise is good for the body/soul and the desire to get great photos keeps the stalking skills sharp. Camera hunting is awesome...

I do not shoot a lot of arrows but I do shoot qualtity shots when I shoot-occurs everyday from as close as 12 feet. I try to build/maintain muscle memory. The new Kanga Custom longbow has me shooting more traditional than compound the last few days.

Shoot when I get the chance..which is usually 2-3 times a week in the off-season and maybe 12-15 arrows. Lately, it is starting to pick up to much more than that. Huck, that is a cool tip about camera hunting. I should do it. I love to walk the woods so why not add the camera and the mock hunt?
