Just a quick question how do you hang your bow in the stand. Do you use the cam or the limbs? Just wondering what everyone was doing and is one way better than the other when it comes to your bow.

I hang mine by the limb, just because my cams don't really allow a lot of space for the hanger and taking it off without looking at it could pose a problem.

I hang off the limbs. It sits more stable and blows less in the wind.

    I hang off the cam.

I'm also picky on where I put my bow arm hanger. I put 4" or so directly above my head when standing and facing the tree. This let's me grab the bow with minimal motion, can swing to either side of me, and it never gets in the way of where I'm shooting.

I use a two piece bow hanger that gets it out about 18-20" from the tree and hang it by the limbs.

i would use a bow arm hanger so the bow is right in front of you and easy to grab when you get caught off guard. i personally have mine hanging on my chest with loops i attached to my safety vest so the bow is ready to grab right away. but when im eating or times when i think its slow time i put it on a bow hanger in front of me. sorry went on a tangant hang it wherever feels right to you.

I too usually use a 3 piece arm to hang my bow this particular set just happen to have a limb right above my head I usually hang it like pic one but with this Chill X I find it easier to hang it from the cam I am just worried about damages to it

I don't hang my bow, I use the bow holder on my LW platform. I mainly sit, so this keeps my bow right in front of me to grab. I like not having to reach for it, which eliminates a potential bust.

in the tree, I use a bow holder attached to the stand platform, keeps it right there ready to grab... in the ground blind I use one of those limb clamps the target shooters use to stand the bow on the ground in front of me
