I use iTunes. That way I have all my music on my MacBook, iPad, and iPhone all the time. Fast and easy for me.

If you have a Smart Phone use Grooveshark. It is basically a online storage database for music with a search engine. I think I have over 2k songs and use it everyday

I use Spotify Premium. It's $10 a month with the first month free.

You don't actually own the music, but you can make your playlist offline so you can listen anytime you want on your computer or phone without internet access. I really like it because you don't have to be conscious about what music you download. It all costs the same whether you have 500 songs or 100 songs.

Amazon cloudplayer. Access through my phone, computer and anything else amazon can be accessed through. Upload all my songs to it, and anything purchased through Amazon goes directly to it...can pick and choose stuff I want to download off of my cloud to a device like computer or phone.

    FM in my truck.
    Pandora on my phone.
    XM in my wife's Suburban.

I've never downloaded and paid for any music. How much are you paying per song how much would you say you pay for music a year, on average?

Pandora and Slacker for streaming, Amazon Cloud for downloads, and Sirius for the vehicles. I only own around 6 songs. I've debated the merits of owning vs. streaming. I would like to own more songs, but streaming is so easy.

Back in college, it was Limewire and torrents.

Is there a cost associated with this?

back in the day.....torrents...loved them.....doesnt seem to be a viable option now.....im going to look into this youtube converter though....sounds easy enough

Ive never paid for anything but sirius....and even with that I argue with them for around an hour on the phone every year to get it to the 74.99 for the year price I started at with them....I hate the idea of .99 per song or whatever it is...could add up quick

Im cheap when it comes to this kind of thing.....

Unless they charged me something I didn't know about nothing. Set up an amazon account and you are in.
