I have been trying for the past few years to find some property to hunt in Maryland. Growing up in Wisconsin got me spoiled on Plat books and actually finding the land owner and talking with him/her. Well MD does not have this luxury of a Plat book. So, if anyone knows a good way to find land owners in the state of MD it would be greatly appreciated. I know other states don't have Plat books so there has to be a way of finding out. Thanks for any and all advice.

I don't know about MD but some counties here in NC have a section in their tax dept. online where you can go and click on a certain parcel and it will tell you all the info. on that specific piece including the owner's name. Maybe give your county or counties a try.

I bought a plat map at the soil and conservation district in for the area I hunt so that I know who ownes what around my county. I use it alot. Its all torn up and old looking. I need to get another one actually. they are ahandy to use. Cost like $15.00 I think.
