For anyone who wears glasses while shooting, how the heck do you pull that one off?

I'm battling a persistent eye infection and I can't wear my contacts, so I'm stuck wearing glasses. I tried to shoot my bow with them on and it's practically impossible. When I hit my anchor points, the peep and pins are right at the edge of the lens and it's like they're not there. I can turn my head a little left and see them, but then my anchor points are shot. I decided the best thing to do is not shoot any more until I can wear my contacts again. I don't want to learn any bad habits.

Hmm, I wear glasses and don't have any problems. But my guess is that my anchor point is different then if I didn't wear glasses.

I shoot wearing glasses. Also shoot left handed with both eyes open being right eye dominant. Never had any problem.

I have to wear glasses to hunt or target practice. I don't have any problems except for fogging issues but I think I have that taken care of this year.

I also wear glasses and have no problems. I'd have to say that your bow may not be set up properly or your wearing some Mr Magoo glasses, lol. Seriously though you should not be having a problem with you peep if your anchor is the same without the glasses. I shoot with and without my glasses with no issues.

Look at the Hindsight. I wear glasses and this has greatly improved not only my shooting, but ability to sight in during low light conditions.

I always wear glasses. The only thing I have to make sure is that my glasses are pushed up all the way on my nose. If they slide down at all I get double vision when looking through the peep. It's just habbit for me now before I draw to push up my glasses.

Do you have any other frames you can try? The shape of your frames may be the problem.

 Not so sure about the later.

I shoot with my glasses, I where them pretty close to my nose though. This year for hunting season and completely for comfort and ease, I am gonna get some contacts. I will likely still shoot 3D with glasses though.

Thanks for the recommendations folks. I finally beat the eye infection and have my contacts back in. I gave up on trying to shoot with glasses, but I have to admit that I'm intrigued by the Hindsight. I'm gonna have to check into that.

Question for Christine and/or Iowa Veteran. I shoot with both eyes open. Is that possible with the Hindsight? It looks like it would be difficult if not impossible with the rear sight so far from your eyes.

My dominate eye is very dominate so I can shoot with both eyes open.
