Just curious. How about after your hung and setup, do you just hang it in the tree with you?

I do not have one. BUT if I did, I would only see taking it with me on climbing missions or the first sit or two in a set. I lighten my load in my pack when I know I am heading to a set that is hung by taking my folding saw out on those days.

It's very heavy and they offer a belt pouch for it but it is very expensive, almost as much as the saw itself, something like $25. I carry mine with me every time as I rarely sit the same set twice. Mine is the 5 foot version and was too long to fit in the main pocket of my fanny pack so I cut a hole in it in the lower back corner of the main compartment to let the extension part extend through the hole. The hole is just big enough for it to slide through so I don't worry about anything falling out. I don't carry anything small enough to fall out anyway in that compartment, just a call and a pair of clippers for the small twigs a bowhanger. Everything else goes in the small compartments. I taped up the edges so it doesn't frail. I hated to do it but it seems fine after a few trips in with it.
