I need to quiet my bow down. I purchased these string silencers. They are currently in strips, like on the right in the picture. I cannot figure out how to make them look like the picture on the left. How do I apply these things?!!!

I have tarantulas for silencers on mine that look some what similar to yours. Mine don't puff out though like the ones In your pic on the string. Anyhow I put mine on when the bow Is not strung. I put the silencers In between the string strands while the string Is loose and when I put the string back on It tightens right up. You could serve them In to If you wanted.

OK they are very similar to the Beaver balls and would imagine they fit the same , so firstly unstring one side of your bow string and then measure around 8" from the loop . Then separate the strings and insert one end of the silencer so it sticks through the string , then twist the rest of the silencer around the string going with the twist of the string inwards , when you get to the end of the silencer insert the end between the strings ...... Repeat the process with the other silencer ( be sure they are equal distance from the loop end ) , restring your bow and you are done :)

    Hope this helps

Kanga, I will purchase one tomorrow along with some 4 inch feathers. You guys have a wealth of information and I appreciate you all sharing it so readily. Thank you.

    Brett,
I think Gander Mt in Fredericksburg still has traditional archery night every Thursday evening. It might cost $5.00 now it was free. I haven't been there in quite awhile but there was a good group of guys that were there all the time.
I'm still off every Tuesday, give me a call. I have to take the wife to the Dr. tomorrow afternoon though. If need be I can come to you if you want and you have a place to shoot. I'll show you how to make a stringer too, real easy.
