    image.jpeg image.jpeg I pulled my card today and got a weird pic of a doe that looks like she has been wounded. I have no idea how she is still alive looks like it would be all most perfect shot.

    Would have breached chest cavity in general and most likely hit both lungs and they would've collapsed. Unless she has some sort of worm or rubbed on a tree. Maybe show to DNR.

    Wow, that looks crazy... My guess might be that she tried to squeeze through some barbed wire and got cut on both sides?

    Very possible. The other possibility is from a rub - like regularly working the head and neck to get to food.

    I have a doe that early in the spring had worn patches off on the back of her neck.

    I don't think it's a broadhead wound.

    On another note. Deer are incredibly tough and can survive crazy injury's.
