I'm seeing little pre rut activity in the U.P.. Shinning bucks seems to have little to no interest in does, am finding a few rubs but thats expected. I think young bucks will start showing interest late this week with the cold weather moving in. Early November will probably be the breeding phase, like most years.

Same as above, few rubs and scrapes are expected this time. And are people seeing fighting or sparing? Little bucks will start to bump does around but mainly I have only seen REAL rut activity starting last few days of Oct. then all the way up to around the 2th of Nov.

Same time every year no matter what Alzheimer's says about the moon. Late October-Early November. Be in the woods and you'll know when it's "on". I've had my best luck on November 5th.
