I hunt a very urban place. All I do is feed apples and corn in a pile. I see a couple does every once in a while. But I don't get pictures of any mature bucks. A few years ago it was a honey hole. Now it sucks. I have tried doe estrous, buck urine, and even tried a feed called Deer Domination from The Buck Bomb. And I can't move my blind because I'm only 14 and I hunt on my uncles property. He sets up the spots. First any idea why my spot isn't good anymore? Lastly what can I do to make it a better spot? Thanks
Try doing nothing for a while, let the woods go back to a natural state. You said it used to be a honey hole now it sucks, could be all the "attractants" and unnatural things your bringing into the woods ruining it.
Its so hard to answer with little information. Without seeing the place and knowing roughly where the deer would be, how the neighbors hunt, where food and water is, etc, its hard to give much help. If you can move your camera around, or add an additional camera or 2, it would help you fine tune things. Then you can work on convincing your uncle of a plan to move the blind.
Looks like my kind of hunting. I grew up hunting the burbs of philly. Miss those days! Other then the struggle of gaining permission, it was a blast.
Are you over hunting it. If your there all the time the deer may have changed their pattern. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2
I play the wind and last year hunted it once because there was only spike and fork bucks, this year 4 times with the wind right and as far as I know, haven't had any deer blow
