How can I get this guy out into the sunlight??

    Have you tried whispering sweet melodies using your grunt call yet? Perhaps that will get him on his feet. Rule of thumb don't over use it.

    You go to the buck and don't wait for him to go to you. Every buck moves during daylight if you can get close enough to where he beds. Something I didn't believe till the last couple of years hunting massive areas of public land. I noticed if you can get within 100 yards of an area they like to bed you have a darn good chance. Just have to have a great entry and exit into that stand so you don't spook him.

    I find that the scrape dripper's scent WILL bring bucks that are already in the area in to check it out, so you can get trailcam pictures of them, but they move when they want .
