Ok, just watched a pretty nice one out in the yard. I sat there all evening with my camera. seconds after I lose camera light they came out :bash: So with binos and dang near dark, I watched. Outsides are a tad wider than his ears so far, points aren't real tall yet, looks like a lot of growing still, but his beams are also well above his ears. So what are they looking like in your woods?

The batteries are charging, the trail cam will be on the apple tree tomorrow. I'll get pix soon.

I took the kids on a walk through our neighborhood this afternoon. I hear a bunch of commotion in the front of someones house. I look up and see two bucks running about 30 yards from me. My kids were hooting and hollering they were so excited. Both of them looked to be well on their way.

I checked the camera this past week and had it in a bad location, one very small buck and a couple doe. I moved it to the edge of an alfalfa field on the opposite side of the farm that a big buck was spotted in a last week. He was already past his ears from what I was told, and then several days ago another even bigger buck was spotted across the road with two smaller (but still nice) bucks. I will either check the camera this weekend or next and I am hoping to get some good photos.

Ryan, I didn't know you ran game cameras.

About the same as 130woodman's buck. G3 is showing up on the older bucks. Doing some real long range scouting now to find the bachelor groups. Won't move in for closer looks until mid July. The waiting is driving me crazy though !! Probably setup a trail cam at the farm in the next week or two.

I don't really. I just have one that I sometimes put on the neighbors apple tree or back inside my woods. I've never put one where I hunt.

As best I can tell he looks a bit bigger than the buck 130 woodsman posted, but the same shape.

Most of my 2.5 or greater deer pics are along the lines of what 130Woodman posted.

I have no idea how big they are now because I haven't checked cams in a couple weeks.. But this is what they were looking like 2-3 weeks ago. I'm checking the cams tomorrow after work.
