Camp they are way behind on orders. If I ordered one today, I would have to wait almost a year. Their Production goals are not set very high either, 10,000 first year and 25,000 the next. They have a website were you can track your order. Also they built the Battery Plant here in USA to supply the batteries. So the investment made in this Technology is creating jobs. In the future with cars using a similar model for extended range travel, we could all but elimnate imported oil. I guess some like using oil from countries who attack us, I for one want to get off oil. The Oil companies are Subsidize by the tax payers to the toon of 6 billion. So thanks Jeff for using my Oil The Leaf is a good one also and now yota is coming out with a Prius similar to the Volt. I would rather spend my money here on an American Company. There are serveral reason, one is the local plant with help the surrending business. I also like the car was design here, which means engineering jobs, etc. Jeff at 41,000 and with my 7500 tax breeak I am not going to be near 50,000. I am not sure about A plan cost yet. When I get it, I will figure out your share of the Tax the help build the volt and send you a check We are going to add about 150,000 jobs across the county becasue of what Bush and Obama did with the Auto industry.
