    Where do you see yourself falling as to how anal you are?

    1 = Never Tune
    5= Perfect paper tune and you stop there
    10= Bruce :D ;) The humidity changes and you need to re-tune. J/K (well somewhat) Just so I am clear, not saying this is a bad thing at all. :wave:

    Right now I fall into about a 7. I started by paper tuning. I bare shaft tuned out to 16 yards and got it perfect this spring. Last weekend I started working on bare shafting to 30 yards. Nock height is perfect but I need to adjust my DW down just a little bit to bring my dynamic spine in perfect. I would love to tune out to 40 yards but not sure my shooting skills will be good enough to realistically make informed changes.

    I'd give myself an 8. My friends would give me a 9.

    I have never been that anal with it until this year. I want my arrow to be extremely efficient in it's flight characteristics to get optimum penetration at the lower hunting speeds my arrows will see this year. I have done more tuning this year than ever before and I love it. It has given me a sense of pride that I am beginning to really understand my equipment. I give myself a 7 this year.

    About a 7 right now. I eyeball centershot, walkback/group tune, then BH tune. I was even more anal about a year or two ago, but I developed a lot of frustration from little gain, so I've backed off a bit. I'm not a target shooter, but I want my equipment performing VERY for the field. I will take every little advantage I can get.

    pretty much get a bullet hole and then shoot fp, fixed head and Rage to see the group and if they hit where I want them, tight in a group together and fly straight, Im done. so I would say 6 or 7.

    I'd say I'm very close to that 10 mark If not a 10. The last few years I've gotten very anal about my arrow and bow marriage. Has It Improved my accuracy? A ton!! It's well worth It to do and learn but takes allot of patience to do It. Once you figure out how to do It and have success with It, It can be a cake walk compared to what It was like at first.

    I'm a 10 for sure but only with tuning my bow.:rolleyes:

    My newest bow has had 2 sets of cams,3 sets of strings,4 rest(for testing purposes,went right back to my trust whammy ),several different arrows and fletching combos as well as different timing settings and tiller settings to get it to shoot the way "I" expect.It has also been on a shooting machine twice for creep tuning.

    The machine time was free because this bow had my string builder as stumped as as I was and we both wanted to get it figured out.NOW,it shoots lights out perfect but it wasn't easy getting it there.

    Probably a 7-8. I get field points shooting right then switch to broadheads. They have to shoot bullet holes in paper before I'm satisfied. Then they have to group whereas I cut the fletching off at 20 yrds. Once this happens I start spot shooting. I only shoot broadheads from then on.

    Not really sure where to put myself. I set the bow up, walk back tune then broad head tune and I'm done. I am very demanding on my groups.

    I'd put myself in the 6-7 range.

    I'd say I'm a 7.5. I paper and walkback tune to get set up. After that I don't do much unless I start straying then I'll tune again to check everything out.

    5 and maybe a little luck.

    Paper tune, then shoot FP and BH, very close at 20-30yds. As long as BH's group well out to 50 I'm good...for quite a few years I never really shot FP except first couple arrows each year to check for issues...then it was all BH shooting. I've always had an eye for nock travel when arrow in flight, if ever notice any "kicking" issues I work hard to eliminate them.
