The old fart is 60 years old and leads the Masters at 5 under par. 5 birdies and the rest Pars. He's SIXTY.... SIXTY. I'm lovin it. He may not hold up, but the ole guy can still play some awfully good golf. Last year they were all assuming he wouldn't hold up in The Open. But he hung tough until the last 2 holes. He had it won and melted. He won't melt again on the last 2.... unless it's DAYS and not holes. LOL I don't know why I call him old.... he's 6 years younger than me. LOL

I just love the fact that he comes back to play The Masters.
That guy can just flat out play!
He was on the Outdoor Channel fly fishing for Bone Fish...the guy is just a class act.

It's OLD FOLKS DAY at the Masters. Here comes Freddy... he's 6 under. How about that. We knew he could play too. No telling what the guy would have done in golf with a stronger back. Anyway, it's good to see the old school guys doing so well. Tiger is looking like Tiger....only maybe better. He's had a couple shots that were a foot from perfect and ended up hurting..... but the guy is on his game today. 4 under at the time and playing better than I would have expected.

What a great first round! Tom Watson? I just don't understand. Unbelievable... I hope he continues his good play and adds to the madness. My idol growing up (Freddy Couples) is at the TOP of the leaderboard! Can't believe it. Jam packed board with some really good names at the top. As far as Tiger? I guess I was dead wrong. I thought he might barely make the cut. He really may not be a human being to shoot a round like that considering the circumstances. The scary thing is it could have been a lot lower. Yeah the breaks tend to even out during a round, but man he left a few shots and putts on the course. First time ever shooting in the 60's in the first round? Look out. Should be a great tourney.
