My family and I had the misfortune of experiencing a house fire last night. My wife, baby, sister and I got out of the house fine. We did however receive some fairly extensive damage to our home and belongings. All I know so far is the fire originated in the basement and we evacuated the house around 415.

I am leaving my parents to check the damage shortly.

BTW my incoming text messages are not working properly, so if you send one, I am not ignoring you.

Please everyone check your smoke detecters, not everyone is as fortunate as we were.

Scott, do you need anything? Pm if there is something we can help with. I don't have any OSU gear, but if there is anything you need don't hesitate. Really glad you guys got out. Was there much smoke? Fires are a %$#^&.

Holy &*^% bud, glad everyone is safe.

At this point the property damage pales compared to your family's safety, but hopefully not too many personal items were lost.

Let me know if there is anything I can do.

That's terrible news, but at least everybody is safe. The same thing happened to us when I was a teenager and at about the same time, right before Christmas. Hopefully your insurance company will be as helpfull as ours was in getting everything taken care of as quickly and smoothly as possible. I hope everything works out for you and your family.
