    Who makes them?

I've tried Sunbeam, Merita, Great Value(same as Kerns) no-one makes a quality HD bun? You guys have a brand that works for you?

    Um... eating hotdogs? :D

Skip the bread? (shakes head in disappointment) That would only be covering up the issue rather than having a perfectly tuned hot dog.

I can't say I ever remember a hotdog bun falling apart. In fact most of 'em you could wad up and use as putty way before you could crumble them into bread crumbs. :/

Then again, I don't eat many hotdogs. One of my deer processing horror stories is when I took in a deer to have it processed into steaks, burgers, sausage and 10lbs of hotdogs... The processor hotdog-itzied the entire deer! Bleagh..

The key is to cut them almost the whole way through before you heat them up, then finish opening them once they are heated. I've never had any issue with hot dog buns falling apart doing it this way.
