Holy Cow they kill some big bucks up there, I have never seen so many bucks over 200" in one place!! And they kill a bunch of my favorite kind, bucks with drop tines. :D

Enjoy! Warning: dial up beware, lots of pics.

It's pretty bad when you walk right by 160" bucks to see the 180's and 190's.

The buck with the huge bases was shot last year I believe. Its pretty amazing. I cant remember its score but its over 180 if not 190 typical (its in an issue of NAWT) someone help me out with the score.

I think I've seen that 10 with the giant bases in a NAW article before. Awesome buck!

Yeah, the antlers at the show were second to none. Definately a nice show... and can't wait to make the trip again next year.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. They are some definite bruets. That shows how well the DNR is working in Iowa, maybe Michigan should take some lessons.

    Good show

It was nice meeting you there John, as well as Justin and Todd.

That buck with the huge bases was one of my favorites, but there was also one in the back room that was the biggest bodied deer in the whole place. He was only in the 160's, funny I say ONLY...only in Iowa right? Anyway, this deer stood out among all the rest CLEARLY, the biggest body, neck, head and his coat was really dark too. I just sat and stared in amazement. I thought...just give me that chance!

Dude, it was amazing eh? Did you see the big NT shed that was in first place? It was a 133"? giant that was picked up very recently in Alberta. I guess they're still looking for the other side. Wish my camera battery wasn't dead!
