    Maybe someone had shoulder problems where they couldn't hold the weight and wanted to use a compound..... hell I don't know!

    Well, I've never even heard of such an attachment for a compound until I came across this. Its definitely interesting.

    Actually they make sort of the same type thing that will attach to any compound. A locking device that you pull a trigger on to loose the arrow.
