territory size is largely dependant on terrain, topography, and pressure. Not knowing anything about where you hunt, there's not much advice any one of us could give you there. I know that others on this site have encountered the same bucks on trail cams over 2 miles apart.
You may need something bigger than a bow, lol, that is going to be a bruiser I hope you find the beast and are able to put him down.
Wow that's very impressive i hope to be able to see a rub that big on a tree near me one day. Next year ill be hunting on a military base so having a permanent tree stand up will not be possible and scouting will be tough… Maybe ill have to make some friends with land off base haha
That looks more like a community type rub. I have put cameras on them before and had many, many bucks hitting the same tree. Throw a camera up on that tree next year and you will likely get a very good inventory of the bucks in your area. As big as the tree is, there are bound to be a couple of good ones.
It's in nebraska, so no bear scrape here..I have a trail cam about 60 yds away. So hoping whatever did this I will beable to get it on cam.
