I just added a second covert camera mp6 to my cameras stock. I was hoping covert would be better than the rest. After having it out for 2wks I checked it and the batteries were drained dead. I thought it may have been a mistake that I through in some bad batteries. So I then through in a another set. checked it two weeks later same result about 1500 pics and the things dead. Waiting to hear back from Covert so i hope we won't have any hang ups. I added this second one after having good luck with 1st. I love the pics so I'm hoping its just freak incidence.

I had an older MP6 that did this as well. They replaced it with a newer cam and it fixed the problem.

That doesn't sound like my Bushnell experience no phone number no live support HAHA. On this site Covert has a good following so I'm looking forward to using 1 camera brand.

Keep us posted on how it goes. I've been eying a couple of covert cams for a while now.

I would be interested to hear how they take care of you. Any time I have had to contact them it seems they go out of their way to make it right. On the battery side of things I found this year that quality makes a difference. Menards had a big sale of Rayovac AA batteries, like 48 for $10 with a rebate (which I have yet to get back  ) Anyways, they say right on the box as good as Duracell, however we have already gone though the packs of them as they haven't lasted. Replaced with Duracell's and it looks like they'll last the rest of the summer as they have in years past.

Ok I'm giving a update on my warranty experience.:nana: Well I sent in my MP6 and within about a week I received a MP8 back! Replacing my camera and upgrading it. Very happy nothing like my Bushnell experience. I'll be adding another Covert next year to my Cams.

In my other MP6 I have had some Rayovac's and they are going into their second year. I don't keep them out all winter just to December.

That is very interesting. Since we dumped the Rayovacs and replaced with Duracell's again we have had not one problem with batteries again. Thousands of pictures since then and still on 9. Makes me wonder if Menards got some sort of deal on seconds or something. Still haven't gotten my rebate back yet on them either.

I had the same problem with mine. The told me 2 things to try, hit the reset bottom on the camera to turn everything back to factory settings. And when that didn't work they said try a different SD card. When that didn't work either, they shipped me a brand new one.

They're great people to work with over there!

Probably better than Wildgame Innovations cam. Had it out for one season, won't turn on. They said I need the original receipt. You can't tell me they don't know when each one was purchased.
